Getting in and moving around

Arriving and parking

  • Entry is through the east doors, by the Enterprise Car Rental sign
  • Free on-site parking close to the entrance
  • Priority parking spots

Load-in

The freight elevator opens straight into the studio. No corridor and no step on the way in.

Facilities

The accessible restroom and change room

  • An accessible restroom with support handles and lightweight doors, built with an accessibility consultant
  • A lockable change room with an accessible ensuite

We strive to champion inclusivity at The Lab, and it’s important to us that you feel welcome.

AstroLab Studios has an accessible washroom. This renovated ensuite restroom provides a more comfortable and safer experience for those with accessibility needs.

We worked closely with accessibility consultant Julie Sawchuk to ensure we completed this renovation with client needs at the forefront. Watch Julie show off the space!

Over the last few years, Apple Orchard Productions and Accessible Media Inc. have visited The Lab with Mind Your Own Business, a show that takes viewers into the life of a business owner in the disability community.
