AstroLab is a 3,800 square foot unobstructed Soundproof Soundstage Film and Photo facility in the East End neighbourhood of Leslieville in Toronto, Ontario.
In addition to the open stage space, you also get 1,650 square feet of clean and comfortable support rooms to service your production or event.
When you book with us you own the space. Our spaces and service are designed to be functional, yet comfortable and inviting, and boutique to adapt to your specific needs.
When you book at AstroLab, you get a lot of extra value beyond the studio itself. Every booking includes a bright and roomy Hair & Makeup Room with Hair Wash Sink, three Private Changing Rooms (two with ensuite), a Kitchen and Lounge, comfy Green Room, and large “Multi-Purpose” Support Space.
Plus, all your power and equipment needed to power your set (no extra fees), ladders and scissor lift, utility carts, folding tables and chairs, rolling racks and steamers, a powerful speaker system and more!

A large and comfortable white cyc infinity wall stage: soundproofed and acoustically treated for superior audio capture. A true stage on a real film lot. If audio is important for your production, or you demand comfort, look no further.
The studio is equipped with a LAN connection for fast, dependable live-streaming.

This package is for Motion/Continuous Lighting, and is our in-house, all-you-can-use, if-you-see-it-it's-included, gear package! It includes an astronomical amount of LED and tungsten lighting, doorway dolly & track, frames & fabrics, stands, hardware, flags, apple boxes and more to support your production, for one incredibly low flat rate.

Need the floor to be crisp white? Add this, and it will look brand new when you arrive for your shoot.
Starting at $325 for a 35x35' section. Paint more as needed.
Please note that the floor comes "as-is" if this is not added to your booking.
Want to make the cyc a different colour altogether? No problem! Let us know your colour and we'll get you a quote. Work is done overnight before your load in, so prep time is not required!
