Studio 2 is a tad smaller than Studio 1, but just as mighty – with the same exceptional sound and production value. It is unique as it has a U-shaped cyc wall. Great studio for tabletop, interviews and jobs with smaller crew sizes. And you can’t beat the rate!

Don’t be fooled by the rate, Studio 2 is a professional soundstage with the same rigging, available power and amenities you’d expect to find in the city’s larger (and much pricier) stages. Unlike the big guys, this space has been designed specifically to cater to the needs of smaller productions.
Available for half days, and with space lights already hung in the grid and ready to go, it is a fairly turnkey studio, great for quick and dirty productions: just walk in with your people, products, or whatever you’re shooting, and start rolling.

There’s no need to haul gear all around the City of Toronto: at AstroLab Studios we carry an extensive in-house list of grip and electrical equipment, as well as a simple but effective inventory of lighting. In addition to the gear we carry in-house, we can source just about anything you might need. Just give us your list and we’ll handle it. True story!
