If the earth is being monitored by aliens from outer space, for the most part, they probably think humans are kinda sorta just a little crazy. Still, they are surely intrigued and sometimes even excited by what they see here.
And that’s what this series is all about: celebrating and highlighting projects that (we assume) are exciting to aliens. The stuff that makes them put a new entry in their diaries.

In this, our launch edition, we feature the most on-brand thing that has ever been shot at AstroLab Studios, and a project that we are sure got the aliens very, very excited. Read on for more!

Shortly after the art team had gotten started in studio, we walked in and instantly lost our minds over their most-exceptional, awe-inspiring, retro space themed props and set pieces.
Everything down to the button details on their mock control panels had been thought through and carefully considered. It was nothing short of epic, and they hadn’t even started putting it all together!
Not only is this one exciting to aliens, it surely flattered them too.

Needless to say, we’re huge fans of everything about this, and that was our feeling before even seeing the actual video.
It was shot on film, or as director Evan Henderson put it: “using a lot of obsolete gear from a long time ago in a galaxy far far away.”
The release “Things We Regret” is a single from Cheerleader’s brand-new album “Almost, Forever“.
